Chrysalis Girls Program

One of my greatest achievements to date was the creation and set up of The Chrysalis Girls Program, which was an innovative and dynamic group Program for at risk young women in the Northern Rivers. It ran for over 7 years, in schools and created a community of support where teenage girls learned better to ways to reconnect with themselves, each other and their families and the wider community. In 2014 I won the NSW Local Health District Quality Award for my part in the development and creation of this program.

This work propelled me to develop more preventative Programs, like Adoles-sense and Talking Consent to address what I saw as major deficits in the areas of self knowledge for young people.
